'When I’m painting landscapes I like to include water i.e. lakes , rivers, ponds, I love the calmness water brings to landscapes.'

I try to put a nostalgic feel to my work when adding boats to my pictures I paint sail craft rather than motor boats. I have the same view when painting the surrounding landscape, horses & ploughs instead of tractors, I’m just an old romantic at hart and I do feel that landscapes had more appeal when the farmers hard work was gathered in the old fashioned way it was more pleasing to the eye than the giant toilet rolls you see in the fields today.
