Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on joelkirk.com. Please read carefully and print a copy for reference.

A legally binding contract with You will only arise once joelkirk.com has received payment for the Goods in full from You and has notified You of acceptance of Your order by e-mail to the e-mail address given by You in the order form or when joelkirk.com have confirmed and agreed a price with You either verbally or by e-mail.

All prices are shown in £ sterling, and we reserve the right to change any advertised prices at any time. You will be informed and any such changes shall be agreed with you prior to us accepting your order.

All products are subject to availability and may be changed at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund.

Delivery Charges quoted on this site applies to UK customers as shown in the drop down list, for alternative arrangements and costs please contact us.

Payment can be made by any major Credit or Debit card and will be debited to your account before dispatch of your purchase.

Delivery will usually be within 5-14 working days; a signature may be required.

We will endeavour to take all reasonable care, in so far as it possible to do so, to keep all details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering.

In the event that your product is lost or damaged in transit please contact us in writing. In the case of non-delivery please wait 7 days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In case of goods received damaged or faulty please retain the product and contact us within 10 days of receipt, whereupon we will give you a full refund or exchange it for another product, whichever you chose.

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within seven days from the day after you receive the goods, without giving a reason. You must bear the costs of returning the goods to us. We strongly recommend the items should be posted by recorded delivery.
Please note this does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Should you ever have cause to make a complaint, we guarantee to respond within five working days.

We do not send out unsolicited marketing material.

Any data collected by us during the course of business with you is purely for our internal use and is not forwarded or sold to any third party except for the purpose of delivering the goods to you.

Faulty Goods
All products purchased from us are guaranteed for 12 months.
If a product needs to be returned for repair, replacement or refund we strongly recommend that you send it registered post. All reasonable costs will be refunded.

Any change to specification and colour will be notified to you and agreed prior to dispatch. All dimensions are approximate.

Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you.

About Us
joelkirk.com is the website for the artist Joel Kirk who is internationally recognised for his excellent work in watercolour, oils, acrylics and pastels. Joel’s passion is wildlife but he has competently produced a variety of subject matter.

Joel, as you have discovered, is an excellent artist but unfortunately his talents don't extend to computers hence Krystal Klear Media acts as Joel's Webmaster and agent.

Making a Purchase
To order an original painting or Print. Choose which painting or print you wish to buy. All artwork is priced in pounds sterling.

Artwork is sent out:
Pastel on card Flat packed
Acrylic on Stretched Canvas Flat packed
Print Rolled in a tube
Framing is your responsibility to suit your own preferences and decor

 

These prices do not include import duties and taxes or custom clearance outside the UK which is the responsibility of the purchaser.

The shopping cart shows a Euro € and US Dollar $ conversion. There is also a currency converter at http://www.xe.com/ucc For the convenience of overseas customers. These conversions are for guidance only.

Payment method

We accept credit/debit card payment. Other methods of payment may be arranged.

Delivery Policy
We deliver your order right away if it is a product in stock. We will normally send your order to you within 7 business days. Or for commissioned work we will agree a schedule with you prior to accepting payment.

You will be emailed to confirm delivery, which should take up to 5 days in UK, up to 6 days in Europe, USA, Canada, and 8 to 10 days elsewhere.

Returns and Refunds

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase you may send it back within 10 days for a full refund, provided it is returned in its original packaging and received in perfect condition.

Damaged goods in transit

Check artwork for damage before accepting or signing for delivery, and make a note of damage on the delivery record. If the package appears to have suffered shipping damage contact us immediately, and contact the shipping company for a damage inspection report.
Request the shipping company return the goods.
Keep the original packaging.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
